
My name is Edrick Potdevin, and i'm looking for a System & battle design job. I began my Game Design curriculum in 2017 by studying at Supinfogame Rubika for five years. I finished my studies with an internship at Don’t Nod on Banishers : Ghosts of New Eden. I have other activities, but most of my life these last five years was spent on my school projects. I like to create interconnected game systems that work together to create coherent and powerful responses for every player interaction with the game, bringing life into it. I use my UX knowledge to make the systems more accessible for every audiences, including peoples with disabilities.
My links with games
I love making games since my childhood. When I was 9, I tried to make a card game. At the age of 12 I made my first video game with RPG Maker VX, and at 17 I began to use Unity. Now, I want to continue to create game systems and mechanics in the video game industry.
Game Design Books
I read game design books like The Art of Game Design from Jesse Schell or Advanced Game Design: A Systems Approach by Michael Sellers. I like to read them during my spare time, and I have other books I want to read.
Tools
To work I mostly use Power Point for schemas and documentation, and I have a good mastery of Office Suite too. I also use Wikis, Confluence and Notion for documentation. I like to prototype on papers, cards, and others…
